Just to be sure it is not a local problem. Can someone else please test
this? This testing can be done within 30 seconds and it will help me a
lot! There are two ways to do this:

Using the console client:

gdb console
(gdb) r -d ncursesw /dev/vcs
C-w x

Using my example code in my previous post:

make
gdb load
r

Could you please tell me what the exit message shown by GDB was?
