Yes, that's also what I thought (_dl_argv is also modified in
alpha/init-first.c, e.g.) and just posted to glibc's bugzilla:

That's the patch I whipped up last night; essentially the same as the one
you just posted.
That's, however, not the end of the story: ext2fs and ext2fs.static still
don't work.
