If you find such issues, I think that (judging from my own case) the
fastest way to have me respond is to do the following:
1) Call attention to the particular issue, in the subject line
2) Don't ask me to read a big thread
I don't think that long-standing things should go unaddressed, but if
they are pressing concerns, then it's also reasonable to ask for
pressing attention.
