[Bug-indent] indent quesitions

Hi,
I am working with a small team here at Motorola looking at using the indent to
beautify our source code.  We really like the results so far, and are impressed
with the tool.

We have a few questions:

1. can the tool be modified to understand conditionally complied source code?
at this point, we get an error based on an extra else, which is not really an 
extra
else, but has code that is not complied at all times.

2. we get a 'core' if the source file is 'locked' due to or closing of a line 
of development.
Our environment uses ClearCase, and sometimes we 'lock' a branch or element,
which causes the file to be inaccessable, except for reading.  This is much 
less an
issue than a question.
