Hi there,

I have inetutils-1.3b and have run into the following problems:
o when I keep my passwords in /etc/shadow instead of /etc/passwd the ftp
  daemon will not allow me to login. Other daemons (such as rshd and
  telnetd) have no problems with that.
o the telnet daemon does not work with the device file system devfs.

I have not found any of the above in the TODO or README file.
Are these bugs or have I missed a configuration option?
