Gary,

The missing detail for savannah.gnu.org was "cvsroot".  I've got the
current 1.5-cvs version and will give it the old test drive :-)

Yesterday Bob Friesenhahn let me know that the 1.5 tarball is, once
again, available.  "diff"ing 1.5 and 1.5-cvs I can see that there have
been many changes :-)
