I've noticed a problem not quite a bug that I think could easily
be solved, concerning automatic staff changes. I'm doing extensive use
of it throughout this piece, coupled with manual changes where it
really gets tricky, and I'm bothered by the fact that I sometimes need
to state what seems like the obvious. For example:
\transpose c'' {
c8 ees d |
c b, c |
[...]
}
The first and this Cs are placed on the bottom staff; the second is
placed on the top one the real solution is placing the first C on
top and the other two on the bottom... which brings me to a new rule:
- in a measure (or perhaps, beamed note group), change (or don't
change) staff in order, if possible, to have all notes on the same
staff.
