What version of LilyPond?
What character coding does your text editor use when saving files?

Hi there,
I recently discovered LilyPond, so I'm still learning. I tried to have
the text 'più mosso' instead of 'piu mosso' printed above a note using
either ^"Più mosso" or ^\markup { "Più mosso" }, but LilyPond seems not
to be able to handle this special character when writing to pdf. All
music on the page disappears after this statement, and continues
normally on the next page.
Hope this will be of help.
Kind regards,
