When compiling and installing lilypond 2.9.4 (or 2.9.5 cvs) with mftrace
1.2.4, both "make all" and "make install" issue some warnings and error
messages, but continue to the end.
However, when running lilypond afterwards, I get the error message:
GNU LilyPond 2.9.5
ERROR: In procedure primitive-load-path:
ERROR: Unable to find file "lily.scm" in load path
Examining /usr/local/share/lilypond/2.9.5/ this is not surprising since
that folder only contains three subfolders .../fonts/, .../python/ and
.../tex/, but not .../dvips/, .../ly, .../ps/, .../scm and .../vim as
was the case in 2.9.1.
updated debian unstable/testing
make -- version:
GNU Make 3.81
from config.log:
gcc (GCC) 4.0.3 (Debian 4.0.3-1)
g++ (GCC) 4.0.3 (Debian 4.0.3-1)
From the size of /usr/src/lilypond/2.9.5/* (after both make all and
make install) ca. 68MB compared to the size of /usr/src/lilypond/2.9.1/*
ca. 82MB it looks like "make all" leaves out compiling something, but
not enough to hang "make install". But what and why?
Anyone?
Presently my latest both compiling and working version is LilyPond 2.9.1
/ mftrace 1.1.17
