Just go to www.lilypond.org, click on Download and download and
install LilyPond version 2.10.20-1 for your operating system (i.e. MacOS 
X).

As you quickly will notice, LilyPond is fairly different from most other
programs you have experienced, in that you specify the music in a text
format. This means that you can't expect to do anything useful at all 
without
reading the Tutorial, so click on Documentation -> Tutorial -> First 
steps and
start reading and playing around with the program.

In the future, please only use this mailing list for bug reporting and keep
general usage questions on the lilypond-user mailing list.
