Sorry, I assumed that "lilymidi" could be run separately. When I run"lilypond" on the source file, the MIDI file is created. But'lilymidi --help' makes it look as though it should be possible torun it as a separate program. On the other hand, "lilymidi" is notmentioned in the PDF manual.
