I had a strange exit from a LilyPond run. I've never seen this before. I was running a collection of nearly 70 etudes. It appeared to be running just fine. I got lots of "Preprocessing..." and "Interpreting..." etc. and then when it got to "Fitting music on 86 or87 pages..." it didn't progress any further for a long time. I let it run overnight to see if Lily just needed more time to think about it. When I got up in the morning I found this:

********
Preprocessing graphical objects...
Interpreting music... [8][16][24][32][40][48][48]
[...cut for brevity...]
Preprocessing graphical objects...
Interpreting music... [8][16][24]
Preprocessing graphical objects...
Calculating line breaks...
Drawing systems...
Finding the ideal number of pages...
Fitting music on 86 or 87 pages...terminate called after throwing an instance of
 'std::bad_alloc'
  what():  St9bad_alloc

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

This happened with LilyPond v2.11.34 on Windows XP.
