Actually you have to save this code as a new file on your desktop (or
anywhere you want), and make *sure* its extension is .ly (not .txt).
If the extension is correct, you should see that the file has a black
"note" icon; if it does, just double click on it and wait a few
seconds; you should see a pdf document appear next to it: this is your
score.
As soon as you've understood the process, I advise you to learn the
LilyPond language, starting with our tutorial at
