make target=online doc make target=offline doc make websiteAFAIK, the "make doc" stuff is working fine, and if you only modify web_post.py, there shouldn't be any effects on "make doc" since the script is never called on those.
My initial thought would be to avoid broadening the issue; this could easily balloon to be another icky 20+hour build script mess. Issue 1004 already notes that the whole situation is a mess... my preference would just be to add one more hack to get the links working, then leave it for sometime after 2.14. Or maybe even when we do the waf stuff.
