If you use bass figure extenders and you print the accidental after the
figure, the extender of those figures will be too long compared to the other
figures. In particular, if you have
<6 5+ 3>
<6 5+ 3>
then the extender for the 5+ will end further to the right than the extender
of the 6 and 3. The amount is exactly the extent of the +.
Similarly, if you have a figure
<12 5>
<12 5>
the extender will end where the (hidden) 12 would end, which is further to the
right than the end of the 5 extender...
The problem is that when extenders are used, the hidden figures are still
created as grobs with the same extends as if they were printed, and the
extender takes those extents.
