Does this work on 2.12.x?
If not then you will have to wait until the LSR supports current stable
(2.14.x) as if it cannot be added there then it cannot be added as a
snippet in the Doc.
I think we're blurring the point of the docs here.
The point of the LSR is to show things like this so it should be submitted
there directly not in git.
If we need a new function then fine, create a new function \myFunction and
we can document 'as a function' not a snippet with proper explanations on
how it works, and so on. This then needs to have a proper patch review on
Rietveld (doc is almost secondary in this case).
I'm still not certain where this sits - but think this is really an LSR
addition.
and it certainly is not High Priority in this case.
