http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=804I would not find the further changes of patch 4 to be helpful. The next step on this issue, I think, is to wait for a clear reason before doing any more cleanup.
If any contributor sees distracting warnings, or confusing type-conversions, that he thinks worthwhile to clean up, but is unable to clean them up himself, he can identify them here.
