I mean, it could needlessly delay LilyPond 2.16.0 release and I definitely wouldn't want to be the one guilty of that (by finding this peculiar bug in provided LilyPond builds).
If custom builds were corrupted too, then it would be a dead serious thing indeed. But they are not. So it is possibly only a building-process-related problem.
