I did not find this particular issue being tracked. I looked through
those you listed, the 42 that came up in a search for "website," and the
10 that came up for "label:website".
I looked into the texi-to-html generation business a little, and it seems
like it might just be a matter of adding @version{} in the right place in
the right file. Just where that would be didn't jump out at me, and
maybe it's more complicated than that.
Maybe it's actually as easy as that, but for old versions it would at
least mean that they have to be rebuilt (and I don't know it that's
possible or feasible).
For upcoming versions it might be a really good idea, but I don't know
if one can 'backport' it to 2.14 (and even older versions one sometimes
lands on).
