It's definitely possible I'm using improper terminology. What you are
saying is probably more accurate. I guess there isn't a consensus as to
what to call the font units (not that they need to). So, yes, in music
fonts, a staff height has traditionally been 1000 units-per-em. Thanks for
correcting me.
