Notation Appendixes, as I understand it, are 'auto generated' so to speak from
within the 'code' (i.e. the numerous files used to build LilyPond) as opposed
to the 'rest' of the Notation Manual which is mainly entered manually - if you
see what I mean. Yes it would be lovely to have all the commands documented in
the Notation Appendix but that is not trivial (at least not for a lowly
documentation editor as myself) to do.

I also believe that there is already an existing Tracker to 'document all our
commands' via the 'autogeneration part' of our doc building.

However ... your case 'B' #3 which I assume you mean this section - is
something I can perhaps help with.

http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.19/Documentation/notation-big-page.html#multi_002dpage-markup

Can you be more specific what you think would be a good addition to this
section, then perhaps I can formulate a patch for you. Feel free to expand as
you wish I can work with most suggestions given to me.

As to your statement

>> It has 3 entries for '\markuplist', two of which are useless.

Actually they are not useless (after all they got you to alert us to the lack
of helpful information didn't they!), I suggest that perhaps they are just
missing a helpful example.

The first index link just needs an additional suitable example to add after
\markup perhaps?

The second and third links is to different lines of your 'case B #3' (see my
comments above).

Again, suggest something and I will try to make it happen.

Thanks for taking the time.

Regards

James
