Good to hear. That means there's nothing further to do - use of a newer gnulib strtod() replacement was sufficient to work around the bugs in your vendor's strtod(), and if you use the newer m4 instead of 1.4.13, you won't be affected by the format() builtin parsing numbers incorrectly.
