I do not think, you will get more then that for the imap4d server.
Jakob started but most, if not all, of the functions are unimplemented
and return ENOSYS, ENOTSUP.

The popd server should work though, It was base on the code
of gnu-pop3d-xxxx.  But I'm planning to take
gnu-pop3d-0.9.8 and reimplemente it from scratch this weekend, meaning
using the new mailbox as the back-end of gnu-pop3d-xxxx.
Or maybe taking the missing pieces from gnu-pop3d-0.9.8 to mailutils/pop3d
