RFC

Hi ,

I am facing a problem, when trying to retrieve mails from some service providers, the uidl that we get from other service providers contains a characters like !<>? etc. Are these supported in the RFC?

 

POP mail retrieval from other providers (like yahoo) works fine.

 

Wanted to know whether RFC supports these characters? Which is the RFC corresponding to the same.
