Hello,
I'm new to mailutils and I want to use it.
I have a mail like :
From bornet Fri Oct 4 17:55:33 2002
From: Olivier Bornet some accents =?iso-8859-1?B?4Ono?= <address@hidden>
To: Olivier Bornet <address@hidden>
Subject: test with accents =?iso-8859-1?B?KOng6Ck=?=
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1
Content-Disposition: inline
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Hello,
some accents : =E9=E8=E7.
Reading it with for example mutt give the correct lines for the From:,
the Subject: and the body. Here they are :
From: Olivier Bornet some accents àéè <address@hidden>
Subject: test with accents (éàè)
some accents : éèç.
With mailutils, I have try with both readmsg and mimetest. Both don't
decode the accentuated chars :
From: Olivier Bornet some accents =?iso-8859-1?B?4Ono?= <address@hidden>
Subject: test with accents =?iso-8859-1?B?KOng6Ck=?=
some accents : =E9=E8=E7.
Is this normal and I must use an external decoder ? Or is this a
"feature" of mailutils ? ;-)
Thanks in advance.
Olivier
