[bug-mailutils] Mail, sends to dead.letter once in a while, to black hole mostly

Greetings;

I am not even getting enough verbosity out of to to function as a trouble 
shooting trail on this, but locally (on this machine) sent mail to me from 
other users simply goes in a bit bucket someplace.  Or even me to me, 
doesn't matter.

How do I go about troubleshooting this without trouble shooting back at me?

This is ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS and I just ran synaptic to get the version I was 
running, and found mailutils is not even installed.  I'll byte, what the 
heck else installs mail, links it to Mail and mailx besides mailutils, did 
ubuntu reinvent the wheel here?

Whatever it is, is going to be overwritten right now.
