Hi all,

I can only read my email via mail.gnu.org/pipermail :(
I have a fairly crappy system for hacking :(
(Most importantly: extremely unergonomic, so I don't
like to hack for more than a 2-3 hours a day :( )

Next week, things should be better, so I'll
try to have everything sorted by then :)

Anyway, wrt overlapping partitions: I think
the best solution is to add a constraint
when adding/resizing a partitoin that the
partition lie within free space.  This way,
*_partition_align() will never align onto
used space. (Currently, it does this!)

The code isn't 100% clean ATM, but it works...
(it's not too bad, just I think it can be
formalized nicely... but maybe not for 1.6.x)
