Hi There are strange restrictons for partitons with ext2 file system --- It is impossible to move start of the partition during resizing of the partition. But the fat partitons do not have the restriction... What reason for the restriction ??? PS there is no file ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/parted/parted-1.6.6.tar.gz :-( What happens? Dimitry
