Yes, probably.
I don't know much about hard disks, but it is likely that you can
spend money and get a reliable copy. For example, it might be
the circuitry that is broken rather than the actual disk, in which
case a data recovery shop can probably do a transplant :)
I guess it depends how much the data is worth to you.
