RE: Resizing ext2 and ext2

I don't pretend to be an ext2 guru, but I don't think it's a bug that 
you can't fix it with tune2fs.  "Undoing" sparse superblocks is not 
really something that you can actually do without re-creating the 
filesystem, AFAICT.

However, I am glad that someone else could reproduce what I was seeing.

So, is it possible that parted will support ext2 filesystems created with
-O sparse_superblock (which appears to be the default for large 
partitions on most any 2.4 distribution, not just RHEL?
