Incorrect partition size reported for all but first partition

Sent 2007-March-17 but received no reply so resending:

I attach two parted session transcripts. Please observe the sizes of the
partitions and how they are related to the start cylinder and end
cylinder numbers.

In all entries but the first entry, the size is correctly depicted as:

size = (end cylinder number) - (start cylinder number) + 1

but for the first entry (partition) alone the size is shown as:

size = (end cylinder number) - (start cylinder number)

This is a bug, right? If yes, please fix it. If no, please explain it.
