Thanks for the report.
You can do two things:
1) get the very latest upstream sources
2) if the problem persists, run the failing test(s) in verbose mode
Get the latest like this:
git-clone git://git.debian.org/git/parted/parted
[to build from checked-out sources, follow the instructions
in the README-hacking file]
If the tests fails with that, too, please do this:
cd tests && ./t0000-basic.sh --verbose --immediate
and report back here with the output it produces.
