Parted does not support zfs. And, to my knowledge, does not state it
does. Yet another todo item in the TODO list... If you are interested
in posting code for this I would gladly review any patch you send to the
parted project. There is already ufs support that you can lookat to
start any work on zfs (if they are at all similar)

This is totaly expected as you wanted to print a partition table from a
partition. That is not a logical thing to ask from parted. The error
message could be better. Somthing for next parted versions.....

The right thing here would be to show something like "unsuported". Have
to take a look at the logic for displaying the fs type. In any case
this would be something for the next parted version...

Its not a surprise as gparted uses libparted.
