Tests failing on latest 3.0 parted

Hi.
I'm trying to packaging the latest parted release for my Mandriva 2010.2
x86_64 (kernel 3.1.6, glibc 2.11.1), but the build fail because one the
test gt-t9050-partition-table-type fails (see the attached complete
build log and the relevant test-suite.log).

I also noticed that the same test fails for me on every release of
parted > 2.3 (see the attached test-suite.log for the 2.4 tarball).

What is happening here?
