i'm using parted 2.3 with Lubuntu 12.04.
I'm currently working with large drives, 3TB and 4TB
I had this bug (commands and output):

the command parted DEVICE unit co print unit s print
produces the same crash / bug
I've also noticed that using mkfs with fat32 filesysem might also crash parted.
