I attach a tgz with the runs that show the problem.
The file j20_30_15_3.pl is the source file. Porblem is a record of a
session with this file.
The code was run on a 2GHz machine running Linux (2.6.3-7mdk). But I was
able to get simalr results using a Solaris machine (and I confess GNU
Prolog1.0.0.
The prolog version is 1.2.16
As you can see Ineede a large GLOBALZ to get the consult.compile to
complete.
In the compiled version I get a segment fault. (bus error under Solaris)
in the interpreted version even though the predicate data/1 is reported
to exist and listed correctly the query data(X) fails.
For comparison I show the results of a session with SWI porlog where
everything works.
Clearly I have run intoi som undisclosed system limit. What is it? and
can I change it?
