Yes, it would be better. However, I currently use this
as a temporary hack to quickly update sourceinstall.

If you have sourceinstall version x and want to
upgrade to version y, you can simply run sourceinstall
(as root if you installed sourceinstall as root, or as
user if you installed sourceinstall as user), and you
will see sourceinstall listed in the package list.
At this point you can ADD the new sourceinstall
package. The previous information about sourceinstall
will be overwritten, and you end up with only the new
upgraded version installed.

If/when I add an UPGRADE action/functionality to
sourceinstall, this will not be needed anymore, and
the directory will correctly reflect sourceinstall
version.

If you still think I am wrong, and have better ideas
about how to handle sourceinstall upgrades or package
upgrades in general, please share.
