I am having a problem installing Source Installer on this system. When I
perform the ./configure I get the following error:
checking package Expect version...
configure: could not determine Expect version
checking for expectk... no
configure: error: could not detect any suitable interpreter.
Please install either the standalone expect/tk interpreter (expectk) at
http://expect.nist.gov/
Or the tcl interpreter with the additional Expect and Tk packages at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/tcl/
When I perform an rpm -q expect I get the following back:
expect-5.38.0-92.2
expect-5.38.0-92.4
I therefore assume it is installed and there are libraries present
in /usr/lib64 but the configure script does not find it.
I have launched ./configure with a --libdir=/usr/lib64 option but still same
error. Anyone have any ideas on this one?
Thanks
