Great.  By the way, after some more discussion at the linux-kernel mailing
list, Hans Reiser decided that they will go ahead and make the changes I
initially proposed to have ReiserFS update ctime after a rename.  This means
that tar should start working correctly on future kernels running ReiserFS
that implement this patch.  However, implementing this change in tar would
still be useful for any other filesystems that don't update ctimes after
renames (since there is no standard that says to update or leave alone
ctime).

It is not that difficult. Making it in a backward-compatible way will,
however, take some time. I'll try to add this feature after the planned
release of the alpha version.
