Hi Bdale,

Both archives mentioned by you end with a *single* zero block,
whereas tar specification explicitely requires that "at the end
of the archive file there shall be two 512-octet logical records
filled with binary zeros, interpreted as an end-of-archive indicator."

The solution to the problem will be to issue a warning, instead of
the error, if a single zero block is found at the very end of the
archive. I'll do the necessary changes during this weekend.
