This is why I recommend to convert to star's rmt implementation.
It is currently the only way to avoid incompatibilities between different
client/server OS. Note that as Linux does not properly implement the
interface from BSD-4.2 found in <sys/mtio.h>, Linux is one of the problematic
OS in case you still use an old rmt implementation.
