Linux 2.6.21.4, gcc 4.0.4, GNU glibc 2.3.6
Attached is testsuite.log as 'make check' requested me to send.
This is from GNU tar 1.17 compiled from source. The testsuite.log
shows tar 1.16.1 which makes me wonder if it is using the system tar
instead of the newly built tar.
