[Bug-tar] [GNU tar 1.18] testsuite: 29 fails intermittently

Hi,

This test seems to fail intermittently for me. I noticed someone else also
reported it here but with no response:

I tried to figure out the cause but to no avail. Please let me know what
else you need in order to debug the failure. Relevant part of log appended.
