Ah, this is different in the info page for 1.19, which says ... "In `tar',
`--null' also disables special handling for file names that begin with
dash." I'm curious though (and will probably pull down the source since
I'll have to compile a new version with patch) - I thought that because
the command line ordering seemed "sensitive" (-C had to be be placed
before --files-from) that this wouldn't have been an issue.

I guess with this patch the description could revert back to the 1.19.
