hmm! well that's odd!!!
I patched, compiled and installed the above version on two different
machines, and once ran it off ./src/tar. It still dumps everything
under /dev (the test folder mentioned in my earlier post) when
--listed-incremental option is used alongside --no-recursion option -
which isn't right.
I double checked, I can't see how I might have gone wrong.
