[Bug-tar] regression in gtar and soft links

Hi,

 

I have upgraded from gtar 1.14 to 1.23.

 

In 1.14 I could use the option –remove-files and all the files and soft links were placed in the target file.tar. Since 1.23 the softlinks remain and directories are not removed. – even though the links are in the archive.

 

Is this intentionally or buggy?
