Thank you very much for your reply. Unfortunately I cannot upgrade tar
because I'm working on a GPLv3 free product.
Anyway, I solved the issue in the meantime by back-porting
"tar-1.22-fortifysourcessigabrt.patch", which seems to fix the issue.
