[Bug-tar] Colorized output for GNU tar discussion

Hi, would you be interested in colorizing tar's output?

I would like to see (a) the general colorizing infrastructure implemented,
(b) colorized error outputs and warinings and (c) reuse some code from
coreutils - especially parsing of the '$LS_COLORS' environmental variable
(and possibly some other one for TAR?) for archive listing.

There was recently proposed colorizing [1] for general tar listing
colorizing (not only about GNU tar) working by piping the output through
this tool.. which is fine, but it would be nice to have it in tar directly
because it would give use a lot more flexibility.

If you like this idea and you would be interested in pushing this to
master, please could we discuss the requirements for such improvement?
