Yeah sorry, I botched up applying the patch on the first attempt. The
- -p1 option solved the issue and the patch works perfectly and 1.28 now
compiles on OS X with it.

Is there an upstream report of this somewhere that I can link the
Homebrew formula to for further reference? I'm happy to create one if
there isn't, but I don't want to create one if there's already one
noted somewhere.
