[Bug-tar] Bug : Getting Error while using tar in windows [Need Help]

Hi ,

 

I tried below command & got error. Even I tried with –force-local, That doesn’t work for this scenario.  Can you please help me ?

I want to extract .tgz file in to this location “C:\temp\AKASH” in windows machine . I want to understand why I am getting this error ?  For me its look like because of colon .

 

C:\temp\Backup_Build_40143433_1084_2018_05_18_00_01_8585>tar xvfz customerBuildOutput.tgz -C C:\temp\AKASH

tar: C\:\temp\\AKASH: Cannot open: No such file or directory

tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
